If you walk into Men in Black 3 believing in God, you will leave an atheist. If you walk into Men in Black 3 a Libertarian, you will emerge as a Socialist. Vegetarians will find themselves gnawing corn dogs in the theater lobby. You will probably cheat on your spouse if you watch this movie, and it won't be your fault. Because Men in Black 3 erases all sense of logic and sense in the universe, as surely as Agent J's Neuralizer erases people's memories.
This, by io9, just drove all the smiles to my face.
This makes me pretty sad. Had some griefers on the Vergecraft server, and they decimated my scaled down model of the Starship Enterprise.
Our first preview for Elementary, and what some are calling a direct rip-off of Moffat’s Sherlock. I wouldn’t go that far, but it does feel somewhat uninspired. It certainly feels as though they’re riding the Holmes name, as without it, it would simply be yet another CSI-like US drama. Indeed, I question as to whether, (even with the name) the character will even be ‘recognisable’ as Holmes. They appear to have changed so much (from a first glance) that they may as well have ditched the name and notion of ‘Sherlock Holmes’ altogether.
Another preview from The Amazing Spider-Man, and with claims as exaggerated as ‘this summer’s most anticipated film’ it’s really going to have to live up to the hype that Sony are trying to generate. Surrounded by such massive films as The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, I fear that one of my favourite heroes will be easily forgotten this year.

'Arrow'
So, CW has picked up Green Arrow as an entirely independent television show. Sadly, none of the actors from Smallville will be reprising their roles, so Justin Hartley wont be anywhere to be found, which leads me to ask the question as to whether or not it’ll even be set in the same universe. Obviously there would be advantages to keeping it in the same universe, namely drawing back the audiences who used to watch Smallville for the last ten years.
The problem with creating an entirely NEW series will be an alienation of those who would have been fans of the old character (as represented on Smallville), and it’s going to take a really good team of writers with a subtle touch to not undermine the ten years of Smallville that have already happened, and which likely still exist in the minds of those watching.
